Any advice on the best way to extend the hose of a washing machine folks without it being a bodge?
All the hoses I can get hold of have a bigger opening on one end which doesn’t fit on the trap spigot or the barbed connector I have?
Cheers

Screwfix sell an extension kit keep in mind will prob void any warranty with the washing machine
Cheers mate.
Yes I’ve picked one up from there but the plastic barbed connector is a bit small for the pipe. One end is also much bigger which won’t obviously go on the trap spigot.

Also, I always thought the waste should be run high level then drop into the sink spigot? On the Bosch page it shows the discharge pipe coming up through the base of the unit and into the spigot?

Yes mate
That’s what I’ve got to work with. I think the best thing is to get rid of the barbed plastic as it’s too small and use a piece of 22mm copper in the smaller opening of the hose on the machine. Then insert that into the bigger opening (red) and jubilee clip them together??

Jubilee clip either end and you will be fine might need to warm the end up to push it on etc
Thanks for the advice, it’s much appreciated.
Also what do you think about running it under the unit and into the spigot? Or should I take it up to the underside of the worktop and drop it onto the trap spigot??
